UPDATE to the Website.
It's hard to believe we're almost a year old! Our first birthday coincides with Winter Solstice on June 21st.
The website has evolved considerably during the 12 months - due mostly to input from you, the members. Without you folks, the site would be pointless, so my thanks to all of you!
Over the last few days we've done a few more tweaks that hopefully correct and improve a few issues. The main ones are, firstly, to tidy up the HOME and ABOUT US pages. Secondly, to refine and simplify the membership system while still retaining the same levels of member privacy. And thirdly, to make the site a bit more useful and friendly for newcomers to Naturism who may be considering the lifestyle.
The most obvious change you'll notice is that your profile will show the green "Community Member" badge. Only Community Members have access to each other's profiles, the Forums, and the Chat facility. Those without the green badge are shown as "Registered". They are people who have registered an account on the site, but not yet joined the interactive community. However, they can still enjoy extra benefits of registering, such as access to Naturist World.
Other changes are to the arrangement of pages and tabs, and to some of the wording and descriptions on some pages. We've also ditched the onerous time limits for membership levels, which proved to be more problematic than beneficial. Have a look around and let me know what you think.
Also, if you log out and browse the site again, you'll be able to see how much of the site is available to the general public.
Please let me know if you come across anything that could still do with improvement. Like I said, you are all an important part of Hauraki Naturally and your advice and input is most welcome.
