Sharing my experiences to help other newbies...
It’s only been 5 years since I ventured into a naturist facility for the first time and those good memories are still fresh. As are the memories of awkwardness and embarrassment of crossing unseen boundaries and protocols as I fumbled through the early stages of becoming educated in the lore of naturism and social nudity.
It took a while to feel normal and for me to be confident, and visiting then working at Katikati Naturist Park certainly helped. I met a lot of very friendly and welcoming individuals, couples and families, and I valued the ensuing conversations about the lifestyle that opened up a world that I wanted to explore. Working in the office at KNP meant I also met several people of both sexes that were like me, very new and uninitiated to the lifestyle and it was nice to be able to able to point them in the right direction.
And so I am exploring, setting out to find as many places that are welcoming, and I want to write about it as I go in case I can help or encourage someone else new to all this, and warmly invite you all to add your perspectives and experiences and even adopt the format I will use as I visit the different venues that abound in our beautiful country. Follow me on the "Clothes-optional Locations", I'd love it if you would add your perspective and experiences at those sites in the comments.

Hi Gary, read your profile and am similar in many ways. Was married for 14 years and have three daughters. Would be good to chat as a newbie to a recent newbie.
