Inactive Membership - What do you all think? . . .
We've noticed that some people have registered a membership to the site who have either never logged in since joining, or haven't logged in for nearly 2 months. Some have never bothered to complete a profile. Makes me wonder if these folks are actually serious about wanting to be a part of us, or just fly-by-nighters.
Now, I don't expect everyone to be logging in religiously every day, And I don't expect people to post anything on the site. But at least logging into the site lets us know you're still alive and kicking!
So, what do you think? I want to be fair, but I also don't want our membership to reach thousands of inactive members (like some sites do!). Do we remove inactive members after a certain period without logging in? Do we remove members that haven't completed a profile after a certain time period? And if so, what sort of periods should these be? We'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
I love everything you have thought about and set out in the new rules, My biggest turn off is inactive people on either nudist sites or dating sites that can take the time to sign up then can't be bothered to take the time and fill out details. So well done and hope this brings the ones back to the site and also new members to sign up :) Keep up the great work :)
