SAVE the DATE!

Team, we’ve got a "wee project" in the works!

This Winter Solstice (Sunday 21st June), we’re launching The Solstice Soul WalkA Matariki Celebration of Body Acceptance —a clothing-optional fundraiser along the Waitawheta Tramway.

We’ve chosen a 10:30 AM start to make it easy for our friends coming from Auckland and further afield, and we’re keeping it accessible with a 3–4 hour return stroll to the historic Kauri Bogie.

Why this matters:

Body shame and dysphoria affect thousands of New Zealanders, especially young people, causing severe depression and self-hate. This year, we are hosting the Solstice Soul Walk at the Waitawheta Tramway, raising funds to enable Hauraki Naturally extend its resources to combat body shame and to promote mental wellbeing through a "natural" lifestyle. It’s about celebrating "natural bodies" and showing the community that our lifestyle is about health, respect, and freedom.

What’s next?

We have received the "go ahead" from Waihi Police and we'll soon be asking for your help to share the public invites and get the sponsorship ball rolling.

Get your thermal packs ready—let's make this solstice one to remember!
