Change of Doc land to local iwi
Just Yesterday Govt announced they are returning DOC land back to the local iwi
This now becomes private land
Where do we stand as a group when it comes to using it ?
If the local iwi allow clothed people to walk the say the likes of the Abel Tasman but doesn’t allow naturists to
Do we have a leg to stand on
We have been lucky to enjoy DOC tracks for a number of years
Is this all bout to change for HN?

I very much doubt that the transfer of ownership will make any practical difference to us, as continued public access is part of the agreement and therefore still subject to standard litigation regarding public behaviour. Full story here:
