Every summer around April I made the effort to walk the entire length of Opoutere Beach both ways with a couple of Kleensacks to clean up the beach - mostly plastic litter left by beach users and washed up from boaties over the summer months. I meet quite a few clothed people on the way and they have nothing but positive comments to make. It's so worth the effort - both in caring for the environment and to get clothed people used to seeing a naked person doing a normal activity. You could do the same on pretty much any beach.
