WHATIPU Discovery.
Whatipu is an amazing expanse of West Coast beach and wetlands, which is an awesome space to explore. It stretches all the way to Karekare, and includes a track up the Pararaha Valley. It's high time we set up day's hike up this stretch of coastline.
So - if you're keen, please respond below and mention which days of the week you would be available.

Looks like a great day out west. the date clashed with a three day tramp completing a section of the round Ruapeahu track that we couldn’t complete last year because of snow. hopefully can join you all for the next adventure
