After our recent hike up the amazing Whatipu Beach and visit to the lodge, we're thinking about setting up a full weekend (or long weekend) clothing-optional stay there during next summer. This will give us lots more time to fully explore and appreciate this incredible piece of coastline. There are tracks that are suitable for all fitness levels - from very easy to quite challenging - so there will certainly be plenty for everyone to see and do.

There's nothing quite like a camp to get folks together, get to know each other, form friendships, and enjoy great company.

So - we're looking for expressions of interest. Is a Whatipu Campout something you'd be keen to do? The cost would be $50 per person for 2 nights (2 pm Friday to 2 pm Sunday) plus your food. If we do a long weekend of 3 nights it would be around $70 or $80 per person. There may be lower rates for school-age kids. The lodge sleeps a maximunm of 40 people, but we can go to 60 if some are happy to bring tents.

So. How about it? Comment below as soon as you can if you'd be keen. Also, if you're keen but there's a specific time over summer you wouldn't be able to come, that would be helpful to know too.
