Hauraki Cycle Trail Ride

If anyone cares to join Keith and I for another cycle ride this coming Friday, we'll be riding the Hauraki Cycle Trail from Pipiroa to Kaiaua and return - a total of 40 Km of flat, easy going track.
The trail winds around the edge of the shallow Firth of Thames, mostly along stop banks skirting the mangroves at the back of dairy farms, and then over chenier shell banks and through wetlands. Expansive views of coastal wetlands, verdant farmland, and the volcanic Coromandel Ranges provide a dramatic backdrop.
If you're keen, meet here at the farm at 8:30 a.m. or if you are coming from Hamilton, meet at Keith's at 7:10 a.m. Keith has a caged trailer for bike transport. Message me if you need our addresses.
You'll need a bottle of water and some lunch - we do pass the Waitakaruru store if you want to buy food on the way. You will probably want to be clothed to go in the store.
See you Friday!

Must be time for a repeat! 😀
