Opoutere

Opoutere Beach is arguably one the best beaches in New Zealand to enjoy being naked and one with nature! Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, bodyboarding, cycling, bush walks, and much more! It is a naturist's paradise, where singles, couples and family groups and people of all ages enjoy being clothes-free. Even in the height of summer this beach is never crowded. And if you're tired of "Meercats" in the dunes, you won't find any here.
About 10 Km north of Whangamata, turn east onto Opoutere Road, go right through the settlement around the windy, narrow, foreshore road until you come to the DoC carpark entrance on the right.

From the carpark or camping ground, follow the track to the beach. Then, facing the beach, turn left (North) and walk until comfortably away from the textiles. From there onwards, right to the Northern end of the beach, you can go nude without the risk of causing discomfort to anyone. Although it's generally great for swimming, there can be days where there are strong rips and undertow, so take care. There are no lifeguards!

I'm trying to visit it but this week it is booked out for the beach hop :( and the weather during the week not the best if i want to stay for 2 weeks lol So looks like i may just have to end up camping for 3 nights there next week not sure yet.
