Kaiaua bird coast
2 areas one on the coast nice flat walking loads of privacy and good for swimming at high tide. The other more sheltered in a park with lots of interesting areas either bush or pasture. I was shown it by Rok. A good place for anybody that isn't that fit. Great place for a picnic. I'd love to go with some other people . Not far from Auckland ideal spot for naturists . The beach area is close to the bird observation area of DOC . Happy to pick people up in Auckland and have a days outing. Share petrol costs. Write to me anyone who is interested ✨️ Richard.
Rok gives a better explanation of the area inthis same forum heading . Do read it. I agree with his summation . it is a place of enjoyment. Spent a couple of great days with him checking the area out and we found it a good all weather area. Thank you Rok
I have walked the beach down at rays rest and biked nude from rays rest where all the campervans are up to the village getting dressed just before the village
We have a campervan and intend staying there again next March
