Hello members, We had a fantastic day yesterday with the BOP Naturists group at their annual fishing competition at Waihi beach. There were around a dozen keen people fishing and up to 30 naturists in total. The winning fish ,a kahwai of 650 grams I think from a total of 3 caught .It was nice to meet Terry and the other friendly members of BOP Naturists on what was a spectacular day at Waihi beach access 34.

Hi everyone, I thought I’d share another positive experience I had at Orpheus Bay today. I rode my motorcycle out there today and as usual I got out of my clothes in the car park and made my way down the trail nude. When I was returning back up the trail (Nude of course) I came across a couple heading down to the beach but to my surprise they too were both nude. The female said hello as did her male friend and we all just carried on like it was completely normal (which it should be!)
Hopefully they are members of this group also and we could possibly head out for some nude bush walks sometime. If so please get in touch and hopefully we can go for nude walk sometime if possible.
Was great to see others enjoying the trail naked more people should try it!

I was there yesterday too, arriving around 2pm IIRC and it must have been you Mike, standing behind your bike and about to depart? Sorry to have missed meeting you.
I did the return trip up to the car naked (parked near Huia road) at 5pm and stayed that way all the way home 😄

Good one, Julian. I'm a bit bummed I forgot the date and missed it - oh well - I'm confident they'll do it again next year. I wonder if it's the best spot, though. There never seems to be much success there. Might be better around at Anzac point . . .
