How to get there

At Kuaotunu turn right off SH25 onto Black Jack Road. Take care; the road is narrow! After 3 Km you will reach Otama Beach. Continue along the beach about 1.5 Km and turn into the carpark. There is a track leading down onto the beach. You will need to cross the river and walk to your left. The area used by most naturists is about 450 meters up the beach.

Facilities

There are no facilities at Otama Beach, so make sure you take everything you need with you. There is no cellphone coverage. Free carparking. The Cafe at Kuaotunu can provide meals, drinks and icecreams.

Best time to visit

Anytime. Each end of the beach can be busy but the middle portion is usually deserted.
