OPOUTERE BEACH CLEAN-UP
As the summer weather slowly cools and daylight saving ends this coming Sunday, I'm planning to slowly amble up the length of Opoutere Beach on Good Friday (April 2), armed with a Kleensack, and collect any plastics and other rubbish left over the summer season.
If anyone is free to join me, you're most welcome. I'm aiming to be at the beach carpark at 10 a.m. Or if you'd like a ride over from the Hauraki side, meet me at my place at 9 a.m. - 9.15 at the latest. If you need directions, message me on the chat, or email me; haurakinaturally@gmail.com
Bring some lunch and drink - there will be plenty of time for a swim and relax on the beach after the walk.
